  This is my short film which is my final task. My short film was about a prisoner that escaped jail. Then the prisoner ended up in a house that someone lived at. During my final task I had a lot of fun filming it and really enjoyed it. I think that my final task turned out better than I thought it would.

 The locations that I will be filming my short film in will be my backyard. I will also be filming my film inside my house. There will be two other participants in my short film. The participants will be my Mom and my Dad. To ensure our safety my parents have volunteered to act as a safety team by providing supervision. With access to a phone that can dial 911 and a first aid kit. The safety procedures will occur when there are scenes that involve a knife. For the scenes that involve a knife I will be using a fake knife. And that knife has been further dulled. I will have a first aid kit ready and someone watching if someone watching if something goes wrong. Filming will begin on 4/1/2021. On the day that I start filming I will be shooting scenes one through three. Then on 4/3/2021 I will be filming scenes four through five.  There are many different titles that are displayed during the opening sequence. The first few titles are all companies that help make the movie. One title is the creator of the film. The last title that was displayed was all of the actors names. In the opening sequence, while all of the titles where going by the screen was slowly zooming into a pumpkin. The title sequence only stops when it zooms into the eye of the pumpkin. Connotations are shown when the opening sequence is zooming into the pumpkin. There is connotations because the pumpkins nose is shaped as a knife to foreshadow. Also once the screen is fully zoomed in to the pumpkin it shows a man.  I am looking at Art of the title site because I am creating a short film. And if I am creating a short film then I would need a title to go with it. On this website I saw many different titles that won awards. I also saw who created the titles on the site. And also on the site were list of titles that were the best of a certain year.  My genre for my opening sequence will be horror. One reason I chose horror is because some of my favorite movies come from horror. Another reason is that I think that it is the best topic for me to make a good opening sequence for. Also I think I will have the most fun making the sequence for a horror movie. And another reason I chose to choose horror is because I think its interesting how horror movies are made.

Common CLAMPS in horror the costumes are usually like normal clothes, the lighting is usually dark, they actors usually act scared, the makeup is usually blood, the props are usually weapons, the setting is usually houses. Common sound in horror is diegetic, dialogue, sound motif, and ambient sound. Elements of horror that I like are Imagination, mystery and suspense.  My name is William Archibald. I am in tenth grade. I am not working with anyone I am working alone.  There are many different reasons that I am working alone on this project. I am working alone because I think that it would be better for my project. The first reason is that it would be difficult to work with other people. It would be difficult because of the pandemic so its hard to meet up. The second reason is because Working with others right now would be inconvenient. It would be inconvenient because it takes time to set up the meetings with other people. And you have to do it in every meeting when alone you can just work on your project whenever.   1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product uses conventions by being very similar to how a normal rap music video is shot. My product is very similar because it uses shots like the ones that are usually seen in a rap music video. It Is also similar because I used all of the typical props and costumes that would be used in your average music video. Another reason Is because I placed the scenes in an order that you would usually see a rap video in. Lastly, I also shot my scenes in the exact same way that someone filming or acting in a rap music video would do. At the same time though some of the things that I did with my music video challenge the conventions of a normal rap video.  This is the second part of my editing blog. Its the second part because I was not done when the last blog was due. For my seventh scene I edited another shot of the sportscar. I edited it right after the black screen. For the eighth scene I sped it up. I sped it up because it looked slow in the video. For the ninth scene edit I cut time off. I cut time off of it because it took to much time off the video. For the tenth scene I also cut off time. If I did not cut off time then the video would be over a minute. For the eleventh scene I slowed it down. I slowed the scene down because it was to slow. Also when it was the normal speed it did not fit the song. For the twelfth scene it was the sunset scene. I decided to cut some of it off. I decided to cut some of it off because I shot the scene for longer than I should have. Since I shot way longer the video was taken way over one minute.
