Intro Blog

 My name is William Archibald. I am in tenth grade. I am taking this class because I like movies and TV. I also chose to take this class because I want to learn about production. I also thought that it would be cool to know how they are made and what needs to happen. I Also think its good to know about this stuff in general. Like if you were watching a movie and you did not understand what happens in the production. You would already know if you took this class. I also chose to take this class because it teaches you about the industry. And you can use it to get a job in that industry. This class is also very interesting in many ways. And it has made me interested in it. This class can also help you in your day to day life. Like if you ever needed to edit a video you can learn it from this class. Or if you need to take a video like a production then this class will help you do that. What I like about this class is that it can help you in so many different ways. This class can also help you learn so many things that you never thought you would need to know. You might also need this class in the future if it has something to do with what you want to do in the future. Also while taking this class it could lead to undiscovered passions. There are many more reason about why i took this class but these were the best ones.

 The titles that are displayed during the opening sequence are the creators names. Another thing that is displayed during the opening is the name of the movie Halloween across the screen. The last title that was displayed was all of the actors names. In the opening sequence, while all of the titles where going by the screen was slowly zooming into a pumpkin. The title sequence only stops when it zooms into the eye of the pumpkin. Connotations are shown when the opening sequence is zooming into the pumpkin. There is connotations because the pumpkins nose is shaped as a knife to foreshadow. Also once the screen is fully zoomed in to the pumpkin it shows a man. Even from the start of the sequence it already feels like a horror movie because of the music's tone. The opening sequence uses a lot of strategies to appeal to its target audience. Genre Decision

 My genre for my opening sequence will be horror. One reason I chose horror is because some of my favorite movies come from horror. Another reason is that I think that it is the best topic for me to make a good opening sequence for. Also I think I will have the most fun making the sequence for a horror movie. And another reason I chose to choose horror is because I think its interesting how horror movies are made.
